After attending GA Tech in Atlanta, Stacey Stanley started her career in the IT industry. Starting out as a salesperson after graduating, over the years became sales manager, VP of Sales and eventually a Regional President position.
Seeing the healthcare staffing industry booming, in 2003 she decided to be involved as a joint owner in a startup travel nurse business, and the business grew extremely quickly. After 18 months the owners decided to go in different directions, and she started a second travel nurse company from scratch. This company grew very quickly as well, and was acquired in 2008.
Leaving the travel nurse business Stacey started a 3rd company from the ground up. Next Medical Staffing started with 2 divisions: Allied Health & Locum Tenens and in 2013 added back travel nursing. Since 2009 Next Medical Staffing has become an emerging leader in the Locum Tenens business.
Stacey currently serves on the NALTO Board of Directors, the NALTO Marketing Committee, the NALTO Meeting Committee and has brought a unique history to the changing Locum Tenens industry with her leadership experience.
Cristina Muise came to Medicus Healthcare Solutions in 2008, assuming the role of Chief Operating Officer and bringing with her considerable experience in finance and operations. In addition to influencing the company’s strategic direction, she maintains oversight of its overall operations and finances, and sits on its Board of Directors.
Prior to joining Medicus, Muise owned and operated a consulting practice and served in faculty positions at Stonehill College and Merrimack College. Moreover, for 12 years, she served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at GlobalWare Solutions, where she was responsible for day-to-day operations for locations in the United States, Europe, and Asia. Muise is an inactive CPA and holds a BA in accounting from Merrimack College, an MBA in Finance from Bentley College, and a PhD in Finance from Walden University.
Matt Young, COO of All Star Recruiting, oversees the daily operations of the organization, including strategic sales planning/execution, the VMS/MSP management teams, CRM design and implementation, and internal information technology division.
With a plan of pursuing a career in the legal field, Matt obtained dual undergraduate degrees in Political Science/Pre-Law and Criminology at Westfield University in Massachusetts. However, in 2003 – declining a graduate school scholarship – he chose a different career path. Relocating to Florida, he began his journey in healthcare staffing at Weatherby Healthcare, one of the largest locum tenens staffing organizations as a physician recruiter working with anesthesiologists.
By 2005, Matt had the opportunity to join a provider he formerly recruited in Denver to start up a locum tenens staffing organization. Until 2010, Matt served as a Senior Executive for this new enterprise–constructing it from the ground up to 50 employees and expanding the organization to become one of the fastest growing in the industry.
In 2010, returning to Florida for another great opportunity in a growing organization, Matt joined All Star Recruiting, as they launched their locum tenens division. Since then, All Star has grown at an unprecedented rate, joining the ranks as one of the fastest growing locum tenens organizations in the country.
During Matt’s more than 14-year career in the locum tenens space, he has touched every aspect of the business – from hiring and training recruiters on the locum side of the business, contracts and corporate processes, to sales and executive leadership.
Matt’s diverse background and progressive career in the industry has afforded him many occasions to educate and play an integral role in the development and maintenance of the integrity of the locums tenens industry.
Matt has served on both the Ethics and Membership Committees for NALTO (the National Association of Locum Tenens Organizations), and has spoken on critical industry topics at numerous conferences.
As President and Managing Director of VeloSource, Mr. Schaal oversees the day to day operations for both VeloSource’s locum tenens and permanent placement divisions. Established in 2015, VeloSource partners with clients on a nationwide scale to assist them with their locum tenens and permanent placement coverage needs of both physicians and mid-level providers.
Jeff’s career in the locum tenens arena began 17 years ago as a physician recruiter with Linde Healthcare. Since 2001, Jeff has served in a variety of positions for Linde Healthcare; from recruiter to Team Leader and then Director of Sales. In 2011, Jeff was promoted to Divisional Vice President for AMN Healthcare’s locum tenens division. While at Linde/AMN Healthcare, Jeff garnered several individual and division awards with regards to employee satisfaction, overall sales production, and division growth.
In 2015, Jeff partnered to establish his own physician recruiting company, Elevated Healthcare (later named VeloSource). VeloSource has quickly become a reputable company in the recruiting space, giving clients a partner for both locum tenens and permanent placement within one brand. Mr. Schaal currently serves on the Ethics Committee for NALTO; he served on the NALTO Board of Directors in 2014.
Anne Anderson joined Medical Doctor Associates in March of 1988. During her years with MDA, Anne has served in several administrative and executive roles. Her responsibilities have included oversight of MDA’s risk management, marketing, government services, travel & housing, and human resources.
Anne developed MDA’s credentialing guidelines, stressing quality throughout the process. In 1998, Anne became the first locum tenens risk manager to earn the widely–respected designation of Healthcare Risk Manager (HRM) from MMI and Finch University’s (Chicago) College of Health Sciences. Her coursework in this area has given MDA a broader knowledge base of the healthcare industry and has provided greater insight to some of healthcare’s current concerns.
Under Anne’s direction, MDA’s marketing department focused on inbound marketing initiatives and developed a lead nurturing function for provider recruitment. She has also led initiatives to consolidate many functions with MDA’s parent organization.
Anne is a Past President of the National Association of Locum Tenens Organizations (NALTO) and served on its Board of Directors from 2006 – 2014.
Andrea Boehme-Hernandez is the CEO and Owner of MEDSTAFF National Medical Staffing. MEDSTAFF began in 1985 as a locum tenens firm in the Southeast and was nationwide by 1989. Andrea joined the company in 1998 with five years of previous work experience in the administrative and accounting staffing sectors. She quickly advanced into a team leadership role and in 2001 she began to lead the organization as Chief Operating Officer overseeing the internal staff and their daily activities. In 2008, Andrea had the unique opportunity to the purchase Medstaff and has since served as Owner and Chief Executive Officer.
Andrea was a party to the formational years of NALTO and has been a very active and attending member since. She has served on the Credentialing Committee 2002 – 2006, Membership Committee 2011 – Present and the Marketing Committee 2004 – Present. Andrea also currently serves on the NALTO Board of Directors.
Andrea is an advocate for high quality credentialing standards and intra-company ethics. She has actively worked to increase NALTO membership, contributed to NALTO articles and publications, and is currently working to expand NALTO branding and recognition throughout the healthcare industry to physicians and clients. As a seasoned member of NALTO and a firm owner, Andrea provides valuable insight from an ownership perspective.
A graduate of the Univ. of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a BA in Political Science/ Pre-Law, Andrea often sights her enthusiasm for the Physician Staffing industry. She is thankful to be a part of such a great group of people and very glad she did not follow her plans to be an attorney. Andrea lives in Raleigh-Durham, NC with her husband and active 2 year old daughter.
James Heil joined The Delta Companies in May 2006 and is currently a Regional Vice President of Delta Locum Tenens. As the RVP, James is responsible for the overall operational and strategic initiatives for the East Region. James started with The Delta Companies as a recruiter and has since held numerous leadership positions.
Preceding The Delta Companies, James was a top performing marketer with Staff Care. Prior to entering the staffing industry, James held positions as a sales and training manager for Blanks, a sublimation printing company as well as several other sales positions. Prior to getting into sales, James was with the USMCR in Virginia Beach from 1989-1992.
James is the father of four wonderful kids, three grandkids and is the lucky husband to Janet. They reside in Aurora, TX.
Greg Prine is a vice president at Weatherby Healthcare. He joined the company in 2002 and is involved in virtually every aspect of its day-to-day operations. Throughout his career, Greg has held multiple roles, starting as a sales consultant, moving to a mid-management position, becoming a senior director and, ultimately, taking his current executive leadership role.
A motivational leader, Greg has been involved in leading and developing sales teams, business development and strategic client relationships, business intelligence teams, and teams dedicated to employee engagement and training.
Currently, Greg oversees the primary care specialties, pediatric, pediatric subspecialties, surgery subspecialties, advanced practice, and business development teams.
Greg’s passion and advocacy for the locum tenens industry are unmatched and essential to Weatherby’s overall success and accomplishments.
After attending University of Texas at Dallas in Richardson TX, Brent Harrolle started his career in the Allied “Therapy” Industry in 2004 with Med Travelers an AMN company. Starting out as a recruiter after graduating, over the years Brent became a recruiting manager, the RVP of Recruiting, and eventually the VP of Recruiting, Operations, Brand Management, and Corporate Training as well.
Leaving the Allied “Therapy” business seeking new challenges in 2012 Brent entered into the locums space joining All Medical Locum Tenens in 2014. Since 1990 All Medical Personnel has been an industry leader in healthcare staffing and has become an emerging leader in the Locum Tenens business.
Brent currently serves on the NALTO Board of Directors, the NALTO Ethics Committee, the NALTO Vendor Committee and has brought a unique history to the changing Locum Tenens industry with his leadership experience.
John began his career in the Healthcare Staffing industry in 1983 working for a large national physician staffing company in Atlanta. In 1989, he cofounded Daniel and Yeager (D&Y Staffing) serving as President and CEO through 2005. While at D&Y, he cofounded TeamHealth in 1993 and served on their Board of Directors through 1995. In 2017 John joined Alliance Recruiting Resources and serves as Vice President..
John has served on the Board of Directors for both NALTO and NAPR and lead the organization from 1997 to 1998 as President of NAPR. He was also a charter member of NALTO and served as the founding co-Chair of the Ethics Committee when the organization formed in 2001. He then went on to serve on the Ethics Committee for both organizations and is currently Chair of the NALTO Ethics Committee.
Matt Erickson began his career in healthcare staffing in 2005 in Dallas, TX as an Account Manager with a leading national locum tenens firm before transitioning into a Territory Sales role and being promoted to Regional Vice President for Allied Imaging within the same agency. In 2009 he joined another leading healthcare staffing firm as a founding member of their Primary Care Office also located in Dallas. He quickly established himself as a leader within that group, and in January of 2013, he became the team lead for the Anesthesia, Radiology & Oncology divisions while simultaneously relocating to company headquarters in Atlanta, GA. In 2014, he was promoted to Vice President and continues to manage Radiology, Oncology, as well as the National Recruiting Team. Matt also attends and contributes at physician career fairs and annual conferences about locum tenens opportunities, and he is a current member of the NALTO Ethics Committee.
