Jim Chandler is currently Senior Vice President of Health Carousel Locum Tenens (HCLT). Jim has been involved in locum tenens staffing since co-founding Onyx M.D. in June 2005, now part of the HCLT family. Jim has been involved in locum tenens staffing since co-founding Onyx M.D. in June 2005. He has many years of experience in various finance, operations, project management, sales, and executive roles across multiple industries, including staffing, healthcare, telecommunications, and e-commerce. He earned a BSBA in Finance from the University of Denver and has also earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Jim is an active member of CFA Institute, which advocates for leadership within the investment profession by setting the highest standards for ethics, education, and professional excellence.

Since joining the Health Carousel family of brands, Jim’s primary responsibility is executing HCLT’s business plan with a focus on strategic planning, sales, business development, systems improvement, and financial analysis. While away from the office, you will most likely find him spending time with his wife and two sons, working on philanthropic projects, coaching youth sports, golfing, fishing, snow skiing and attending local sporting events.
