Eddie Christensen

Board Member

Eddie Christensen is the Senior Vice President of Legal and General Counsel for CHG Healthcare Services, Inc. (“CHG Healthcare”) where he heads up the Legal Division having oversight over the Legal, Compliance, and Enterprise Risk Management functions of the organization. CHG Healthcare was founded in 1979 and has more than 4,000 employees working in multiple offices across multiple states. CHG Healthcare operates the largest locum tenens (physician staffing) business in the country occupying more than 1/3 of the market, including a number of allied healthcare professional staffing businesses across multiple brands.

Mr. Christensen earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Behavioral Science & Health from the University of Utah, a Master of Public Health / Health Services Administration (MPH/HSA) degree from the University of Utah’s School of Medicine, and a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from the University of Utah’s S.J. Quinney College of Law. Prior to his current role with CHG Healthcare, Mr. Christensen was in private practice in Salt Lake City, Utah with two boutique commercial litigation firms and was more recently the former Deputy General Counsel and Director of Legal Affairs for Overstock.com.

Since 2016, Mr. Christensen has been involved with the CHG Healthcare Foundation (“CHF”), a 501(c)(3) charitable organization focused on community volunteerism, providing healthcare to underserved communities both domestically and internationally, and addressing humanitarian and natural disaster needs. Mr. Christensen currently serves on the board of CHF.

Mr. Christensen enjoys spending time outdoors in all seasons engaging in a variety of activities such as hiking, skiing, snowboarding, offroading, boating, and wake surfing. Mr. Christensen is married, has three children and one grandchild. Mr. Christensen spends much of his free time traveling the world with an emphasis on collecting unique experiences.
